1. Self-directed discovery
Users search public professional information using neutral filters and independently choose whom to contact. JuriAlto does not make a legal-merits recommendation or assign a legal matter to a professional.
2. Professional independence
Members retain complete control over conflicts, matter acceptance, legal advice, legal strategy, representation, filings, settlement recommendations, professional supervision and legal fees.
3. Direct professional engagement
Any regulated professional relationship is formed directly between the client and the selected professional or firm under that professional's own engagement process.
4. No outcome-based network compensation
JuriAlto does not receive a percentage of a member's legal fee, settlement, recovery or matter outcome, and the launch model does not impose a commission when a user retains a member.
5. Profile integrity
Members must accurately state their identity, firm, jurisdiction, language and practice focus. No specialization or certification claim may be displayed unless legally permitted and substantiated.
6. Credential-status indicators
No credential-status indicator should launch until JuriAlto has a written SOP describing the source checked, date, scope, re-check cycle, corrections process and disclaimer. Any indicator is limited and is not a promise of quality or results.
7. Ranking and visibility
Paid membership should not secretly determine a recommendation or legal-merits ranking. Any ordering methodology used in the production directory should be transparent and reviewed by counsel in each applicable jurisdiction.
8. Trademark
Membership does not grant ownership of the JuriAlto name. Any member mark is limited, revocable and governed by a separate written license. Members may not rename their professional firm JuriAlto without express authorization and jurisdictional review.
9. Complaints and removal
JuriAlto should maintain a documented process for profile corrections, complaints, suspension and removal without assuming the role of a professional disciplinary regulator.
